In sports it is inevitable that injuries happen, in actual fact sporting injury rates are increasing at an alarming pace. This trend is particularly prevelant in children and young adults
We hope to Improve sports injury literacy and understanding through education and guidance for local teams, coaches, players and competitors
From our experience the importance of injury prevention strategies can be underplayed and many easily accessible resources provided by Australian or International sports federations are either not known about or not readily implemented.
We are strong believers that injury prevention starts at a grassroot level.
Since 2023 we have delivered educational sessions within the local community on the following subjects
1) ACL injuries in youth soccer
2) ACL injuries in AFLW
3) Ankle sprains and the development of chronic ankle instability in field sports
4) Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome in combat athletes
5) Injury rates and injury risk mitigation for novice runners
6) Dynamic warm ups. What are they and how do they prevent injury?
We are always open to completing more work within the local community across all sports. There is complete flexibility on topic, age range and complexity of the material we can deliver!
