Paul graduated from the Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) course at the University of Sydney in 2003. He as been the principal clinician at Palmerston Physiotherapy Clinic since 2006 and completed the post-graduate Master of Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal) at the University of Queensland in 2013.

Professional interests:

- Management of acute and chronic lower back pain

- Acute knee injuries, neck-related headaches

- Shoulder rehabilitation

Damon is from Ballarat, Victoria and studied at La Trobe University, Bundoora/Bendigo Campuses and obtained a Bachelor Degree of Physiotherapy. In 2015 Damon completed the Master of Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal) at the University of Queensland.

Professional interests:

- Sporting injuries with a focus on knees and ankle

- Low back and neck injuries

Ryan is from Melbourne, Victoria and graduated from La Trobe University in 2017 with a Master of Physiotherapy Practice.

Ryan graduated from the post-graduate Master of Science in Medicine (Pain Management) in 2022 and is now a Level 2 Titled Pain Physiotherapist.

  • Running related injuries and retraining

  • Sports rehabilitation and performance enhancement

  • Chronic lower back and knee management

  • Chronic Pain Management

Lauren has several years of clinical experience in Neurological Rehabilitation in the Top End, and specific interest in assessment and treatment of:

- Stroke

- Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI)

- Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI)

- Progressive/degenerative neurological conditions (such as Multiple Sclerosis and Motor Neuron Disease)

- Neurological Respiratory Physiotherapy including airway clearance techniques and cough assist

- Amputees

- Functional Neurological Disorders (FND)

Lauren has extensive experience working with clients through the NDIS but will also readily see patients through third party schemes such as Worker’s Compensation / Motor Accident Compensation / Transition Care Programs, Department of Veteran’s Affairs, and privately.

Thomas was born and raised in Hong Kong.

He studied at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University graduating with a Bachelor (Hons) in Physiotherapy.

Following graduation Thomas gained both a Masters of Philosophy in Rehabilitation Science and Post-graduate Diploma in Epidemiology and Biostatistic

Additionally he has a diploma course in Acupunture for Physiotherapist.

Before joining Maximise Physiotherapy Clinic

Thomas has more than 12 years experience in various settings inclusive of public hospital, private clinic, retirement village and community facilities.

His clinical interest include; 

- General musculoskeletal conditions

- Dry needling

- Geriatric conditions

- Post-operative rehabilitation

In his leisure time Thomas is a keen runner and reader. 

Katie is a Darwin local who graduated from Flinders University with a double degree of Health Science / Physiotherapy before returning to the NT.

Katie has a strong background in gymnastics, both as a competitor and an advanced women’s coach in both the NT and SA.

Katie has undertaken further post-graduate training in management of women’s and men’s pelvic health conditions

  • Lower back and shoulder injuries, especially in gymnastics

  • Sporting injuries

  • Gym-based rehabilitation

  • Women’s and Men’s pelvic health

Michael graduated the Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Canberra / Charles Darwin University in 2018, and worked in the exercise industry for 5 years prior to completing his Master of Physiotherapy at University of Technology Sydney in 2022. His professional interest include:

- Strength and conditioning

- Lower limb injuries

- Triathlon, cycling, running, swimming and cricket injuries

Kadir graduated the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) from Monash University in 2019. His professional interest include:

  • Basketball injuries

  • functional gym-based rehabilitation

Cassie

Rob gained his undergraduate physiotherapy degree in Ireland.

Since graduating he has worked in a number of different healthcare settings across New Zealand and Australia.

Rob has a particular interest in management of lower back, neck, and shoulder pain and is passionate about helping patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life.

Outside of work, Rob enjoys participating in all sports, with a special enthusiasm for open water swimming.

Erin
