Macey Collet
Macey (she/her) joined our team in the Palmerston clinic in May 2025 and brings a diverse range of clinical experience to the Maximise crew. Macey completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at the University of Newcastle in 2022, and has worked across the South Coast of NSW in a variety of roles before joining our team.
Macey made the move to the Northern Territory after spending 6-months travelling around the east coast of Australia with her partner in their Troopy—and decided to call the NT home. Since joining the team at the Palmerston clinic, Macey has been treating a wide range of clients with musculoskeletal conditions, persistent pain, sporting injuries, post-surgical, and geriatric rehabilitation.
Clinical expertise
Macey enjoys treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions and helping her clients return to meaningful activities following an injury. Her specific professional interest areas include the upper back, neck and shoulder. Macey also enjoys seeing post-surgical clients and draws on her experience from working previously on orthopaedic and surgical wards to tailor her treatment programs for these clients.
Macey is also knowledgeable in the treatment of dancers, gymnasts and aerialists, drawing from her own experience in dance and aerial sports to help understand and tailor treatment to these athletes.
Macey is also certified in dry needling and is able to integrate needling into her tailored treatment plans alongside other therapies and exercise.
Macey values inclusivity and will always ensure a safe and welcoming consultation for all clients.
Outside of Work
Macey has trained in pole and aerial sports for the past 3-years so will often be found training her strength, skills and dance moves at the gym and pole studio.
When the weather is nice, you’ll find Macey out exploring the NT’s best camping and swimming spots. When in town, Macey enjoys the luxury of an iced matcha and café breakfast.
Macey is available for appointments at our Palmerston Clinic, Monday to Friday.
