Amina Shakoor

Amna was born and raised in Pakistan. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Lahore in 2021, followed by a Master’s in Sports and Exercise Science & Medicine from the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom, in 2023.

Amna has gained clinical experience in both Pakistan and the UK, primarily working in musculoskeletal settings.

During her time in Glasgow, she had the opportunity to work with a rugby team, which strengthened her interest in sports rehabilitation.

She has been part of the team at Maximise for over a year, where she continues to apply evidence-based practices to support clients in achieving their physical health and performance goals.

Outside of Work

Amna enjoys exploring different cultures through travel, cuisine, and meaningful conversations that broaden her global perspective. Creativity plays an important role in her personal life—she expresses it through art, crafts, and cooking, which she sees as both relaxing and rewarding activities that complement her professional focus on health and well-being.

Amna is currently away on maternity leave.
