Aaron Gandecha
Aaron completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Hertfordshire (England), graduating with a First Class Honours Degree in BSc Physiotherapy in 2016.
Aaron originally spent 6 months working in neurological rehabilitation before moving into private practice physiotherapy.
Aaron immigrated for the U.K to Australia in 2017 and spent his first 5 years working in Cairns, before making a move to the Northern Territory and joining our team at the Palmerston clinic.
After a year spent in the Territory he returned to Cairns, helping to establish the Queensland based arm of the business and coming on board as the 4th clinic partner in 2023
Clinical Interests
Aaron has a strong interest in exercise based rehabilitation and applying the science based principals of exercise to his physiotherapy practice.
His particular clinical interests are in:
Tendon injuries
ACL rupture rehabilitation (both conservative and surgical)
The shoulder complex
Chronic ankle instability
Injury prevention in sport
As part of his role at Maximise, Aaron takes an active role within the local sporting community.He has a great passion for raising injury prevention awareness and health literacy within the local athletic population.
Outside Of Work
Aaron likes to keep himself busy he is a keen sportsperson and most days you will either find him in the gym or at the athletics track.
He is a keen motorcycle enthusiast and if the sun shining his more restful leisure time will most definitely include a ride to a local beach or waterfall.
Aaron is 1 year in to learning Japanese, with the aim of becoming conversational fluent in time for a trip sometime in 2027.
The rest of his time is spent trying to tame his crazy dog Nahla!
Aaron is available for appointments at our Cairns clinic. His working days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
